MANY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: LINGUA IT was born in 2002 and the experience gained since then can be found in every aspect of our work. In the past 16 years we have taught Italian to over 5000 students from all over the world.

METHODOLOGY: At LINGUA IT we see learning a language as a complex process involving more than simply speaking. We have therefore adopted a complete and total immersion procedure in which Italian is used as the sole means of communication. At the completion of your course you will be able to do everything (or almost everything!) in Italian.

CREDITS: Our school is part of ASILS (Association of Italian Language and Foreign Language Schools) and of EDUITALIA. This guarantees that the quality of our services is checked and monitored by the most important language associations. Over the years this quality has led to collaboration with Italian and foreign universities and also with major organizations such as the Volkswagen Group, the European Central Bank, Air Dolomiti and DB Bahn. The courses at LINGUA IT are recognized for the Bildungsurlaub.

STAFF: At LINGUA IT we are a group, a team which offers our students a new interpersonal experience, new friends and new memories. Our goal is not just to have you speak Italian, but to have you live Italian!

: The historic centre of Verona was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000 on the basis of the historical and artistic value of its monuments, streets and buildings. A walk through Verona is a walk through history, art and beauty. An example of this is the ARENA the best-preserved Roman amphitheatre in the world which was built towards the end of the reign of Augustus (10 -20 AD), and is still today a stage for opera, dance and concerts.
Close to Verona is LAKE GARDA, the largest lake in Italy which, together with the surrounding mountains, provides a venue for entertainment and sports of all kinds, such as windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, mountain biking, paragliding, golf and winter skiing on Mount Baldo. Throughout the summer months here, a party-like atmosphere prevails.

WINE and COOKING: Verona is surrounded by olive-groves and vineyards, which produce world-renowned wines such as Soave, Valpolicella and Amarone. In addition, a short trip out of town will immerse you in the traditional flavours and tastes of Italian cuisine. The region boasts some of the best restaurants in Italy and includes restaurants, cellars, taverns and farmhouses for all tastes and budgets.

A LIVABLE CITY: Although Verona offers much to the tourist it does not depend on tourism alone. It is an authentic Italian city, but not too big or chaotic. The rhythms of Veronese days are marked by strolling in the city, cycling by its beautiful river or simply relaxing with friends in the piazza.
