The cultural association Speakable promotes linguistic and cultural exchange, particularly between German-speaking countries and Italy. It organizes Italian courses and linguistic events, such as language tandems.
The cultural association Speakable is based in Rome in the Appio Latino area, not far from Furio Camillo, the underground station on Linea A. It is a strategic and quiet location, perfect for its language courses. Speakable offers Italian courses for foreigners. It also organizes linguistic and cultural events other than the usual ones, promoting linguistic exchange among different native speakers, such as language tandems, evening social games in German and Italian, karaoke nights in German and Italian, etc.
The Italian courses for foreigners are intensive courses and target people from all over the world, but in particular German speakers. They are perfect for those who want to spend a short time in the most beautiful city in the world, Rome, and learn its wonderful language. Courses are active all year and always start on a Monday. They are held Monday to Friday and each student will receive a certificate of attendance at the end of the course. Students can choose to attend courses for one, two, three or four weeks.
All levels (from beginner to advanced) are available along with some special courses, such as those for mothers with children or for people who are 50 or older. The price of the course includes two extra activities per week: a language tandem evening and one of the special evenings. All extra activities aim at linguistic exchange and conversations in Italian in a relaxed atmosphere.
Communication is the focus of all lessons. Speakable teachers are rigorously selected and most of them speak German, if needed.
