“La Vera Italia” offers you the chance to learn the Language and to understand the different aspects of Italian culture in an area which is rich in ancient traditions. “La Vera Italia” is part of “The Victoria Company”, renowned throughout the entire Marches Region for the teaching of foreign languages. Founded in 1997, “The Victoria Company” was recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education in February 2002, in 2007 it became the first school in The Marches to be a member of AISLi (Associazione Italiana Scuole di Lingue) and in 2008 accredited by the Marche Region.

The modern premises boast nine spacious air conditioned classrooms with audio and video equipment, a computer lab with internet access and a Personal Learning Centre, a multimedia room which, through the use of technology The school is very close to the city centre, bars, restaurants, shops, tourist information office, hotels and hostels, as well as the railway and bus stations. “La Vera Italia” is in Jesi, a picturesque historical town in the province of Ancona, founded by the Romans and birthplace of the Emperor Frederick II of Swabia (XII century A.D.) and the famous composer Gian Battista Pergolesi (XVIII century).

Jesi is not far from the Adriatic sea and lies in a beautiful valley called Vallesina. It is surrounded by rolling hills covered in vineyards, olive groves, cornfields and sunflowers. Jesi offers visitors a warm welcome and an abundance of local specialities and wines. In a very short time you will feel part of a community in which ancient traditions harmonize with modern lifestyles. “La Vera Italia” offers different study programmes all the year round. There are three types of course (Language, Culture and Special) each lasting at least one week. The number of students per class ranges from a minimum of four to a maximum of nine, thus ensuring that each member of the group receives the best possible support from the teacher. All courses begin twice a month. Our highly qualified teachers have proven experience in teaching Italian as a Second Language (L2) and adopt the communicative method.

Each lesson lasts sixty minutes and there is a fifteen-minute break every two hours.

Our course programmes are designed to help students reach the language competence levels established by the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference).
On the first day of their course all students will be given a level assessment test.
